CHECK THE AIR FILTER

So, if you don’t want to face this problem, try to change the air filter according to the manual book, and you should do it once in every 60 to 70 days according to the usage.
CHECK THE OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT

An air conditioner coil is an outdoor unit, and it releases the heat from your house to outside. As the air conditioner coil is placed on the outside, it can become very dirty quickly. Just clean the condenser coil once or twice a year and you’ll be fine.
CHECK THE VENTS AND REGISTERS
Check all the registers and vents of your house, whether they’re blocked or not. If any object is blocking the air vents or registers, you need to remove the objects from the way.
CHECK HOME INSULATION
If you want your HVAC unit to run at its full efficiency, you need to check the insulation of your home. Check if there are any air leaks and seal them up. Also, look for drafts in windows and doors. You need to check the attic to make sure your home insulation is working right.
